Imaginative Prayer
Professional Learning

A full-day immersive Imaginative Prayer Experience. Allow the Scriptures to come alive.

Allow yourself to be transformed through a personal encounter with the Word of God.

This full-day retreat will enable you to experience first-hand the power of this approach. Time will also be spent learning about the educational and spiritual benefits of the method.

In short, this day will incorporate practical tips and resources for teachers when engaging their students with Scripture, whilst providing an atmosphere for personal adult faith formation.

Pre-approved for 5 CECV Accreditation hours in the Melbourne Archdiocese and the Sandhurst Diocese.

The practice of imaginative prayer helps children to enact their faith, deepen their understanding of the various gospel stories and be able to connect and relate their stories to their own lives.
Feedback from a teacher at St John's, Mitcham.

Parent/Family
Sacramental Evenings

Most schools invite parents or families to attend formation evenings as part of student sacramental preparations.

Incorporating imaginative prayer experiences into such events can not only be incredibly powerful for the preparing children, but also their parents, who often find themselves overwhelmed by their role as the primary religious educators in their children's lives.

Imaginative prayer experiences form part of presentations for the sacraments of First Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation.

Evenings to up-skill and support foundation parents/new families can also be organised.

"The Eucharistic information night was brilliant!!!! The best sacramental session I have ever attended."
Feedback from a parent at St Luke's,
Blackburn South.
